Wireless M-Bus Concentrator Gateway

The Lobaro wMBus Concentrator Gateway with external power supply collects meter readings from up to 2,500 commercially available meters within a radius of approximately 800 m to 1,000 m and forwards them securely via NB-IoT or LTE-M.

It supports 868 MHz wireless M-Bus as well as Sensus RF Bubble Up and is designed for regular remote meter reading, including short reading intervals in the range of minutes.

Secure Data Transfer​

Forwarded meter values can be encrypted and transferred to the Lobaro IoT Platform, where they can be viewed or downloaded as CSV files.

The Lobaro platform is required for secure operation of the device and for meter data management.

Connectivity​

Thanks to NB-IoT and LTE-M, the gateway is optimized for sensor data transmission and can be used even in locations where smartphones have poor or no reception.

The firmware is functionally identical, but this variant:

  • does not support LoRaWAN uplink
  • provides larger telegram storage
